Recently launched by MetaQuotes, this long-awaited upgrade to MetaTrader 4 can be expected to go from strength to strength over the coming months. MT5 has built on the continued success of MetaTrader 4 and has enhanced a number of aspects of the trading environment.

One of the most eagerly anticipated function of MetaTrader 5 is the ability to use one-click trading using a price board which makes it easier and quicker to execute trades during fast moving markets.

Like MetaTrader4, MT5 supports three types of charts - line, bar and candlestick. MetaTrader 5's charting tools can be widely used for analytical purposes. There are 21 timeframes, from one-minute to one-month, available so that you can choose the type of quote visualisation that best suits your trading system. Visualisation of additional information (tick volumes, last price and OHLC lines and others) can also be set up to help simplify trading and analysis. Dozens of built-in indicators and graphic objects including the most popular analytical tools are also available directly through the platform's charting functionality.

In addition to the use of Expert Advisors, Charting and Technical Analysis MT5 also features enhanced fundamental analysis including regular economic and financial news updates through the Toolbox. An economic calendar will also provide information on the upcoming release of news and economic indicators such as interest rate decisions and important news such as the US non-farm payrolls. This information will be vital in ensuring you are ready for increased volatility and market movements.
