MetaTrader 4 Trading Tools
One of the most popular features of MetaTrader4 and the reason it is the world leader in Forex trading is because of the ability to use Expert Advisors and scripts. EAs are automated trading systems that will do the trading for you and scripts can act as shortcuts to perform a number of tasks.
There are a number of ways that EAs can be used including set and forget strategies where they will handle all aspects of your trading including money management. You may want to have an EA developed to exactly fit your trading style and there are a number of developers out there who will build your Expert Advisor for you using the platform’s inbuilt language, MQL4.
GO Markets Expert Advisors
You may currently use a fixed set of rules to trade which is why we have had some simple, standard Expert Advisors developed for you to use. They are all based on very simple strategies such as Moving Average Crossovers and Bollinger Bands and could be used to automate your trading if you already use these systems.
There are 11 different strategies along with the reverse available for download, each of them with customisable inputs and they will all work on any GO Markets live or demo account. If one of the strategies looks like it meets your needs, why not give it a go on a demo?

Once you know which EA you want to use, or if you want to test an EA, click the relevant link below and install it to your MetaTrader4 Experts folder (usually C:\Program Files\Go Trader MT4\experts).

GO Markets MT4 Scripts
Following suggestions and requests from a number of you, we have put together a collection of basic scripts which can be used on your MetaTrader 4 platform to perform simple tasks. We have five scripts which can be downloaded and setup on your platform. To start using the script simply click the link below and install it to your MetaTrader4 Scripts folder (usually C:\Program Files\Go Trader MT4\experts\scripts).
Script #1: Close All Trades This Currency
This script will close all trades running on one currency. To use the script simply drag and drop it onto a chart of the currency in question and all trades running on that currency will be closed within a couple of seconds. Click here to download.
Script #2: Close All Trades
This script will close all trades running on the account. To use the script simply drag and drop it onto any chart and all trades running on that account will be closed within a couple of seconds. Click here to download.
Script #3: Adjust Stop Loss & Take Profit
This script will allow you to set or edit all the stop loss and take profit orders at a set distance from the entry price. The script is designed to save time if you have a number of trades running on the same currency pair and you need to update them quickly. Simply type in the distance from the entry price for both the SL and TP level then click OK. All trades will then be updated immediately. Click here to download.
Script #4: Delete All Pendings This Currency
This script will delete all pending orders that are related to a currency pair. Simply drag and drop the script onto a chart of the currency in question and all pending orders will be deleted within a few seconds. Click here to download.

This script will delete all pending orders on an account. Simply drag and drop the script onto any chart and all pending orders will be deleted within a few seconds. Click here to download.
Please be aware that for any script to work you need to tick the box to 'Allow Live Trading'. If you do not select this box, the script will not work.
